"Faces" - My Eyes r Your Eyes.

"Faces" - Beautiful Javanese Lady.

I realized the amazing thing of this picture when I edit it and found the child having exactly the same facial expression as her grandma had. How curious but how real. We are just what we have learned. We can modify certain things, true. This little boy was playing total attention to her grandma. A monkey learns how to be a monkey from another monkey... a bird learns how to fly from another bird... a flower will smell like another flower, and so on.

Her name is Komang. A lovely Balinese girl who used to play with me and my dog at the beach everyday. We had lot of fun together. My dog was poisoned one year ago and passed away. Now I don't go to the beach very often...and I miss my dog and I miss Komang too. God bless them both.

Children. Eternal treasure. How much we change since we were young. But do we want to change? We have to. And how do we change? Are we aware of that changes? Are we what we want to be? We are the consequence of our experiences. And we want to change the world? Teaching our children on our own mistakes??
Someone said once that we can not look for solutions with the same language with that created that problems. Right. Big true.

Someone said to me once that the people on pictures don't smile. Well, i don't ask them not to do it. I'm just an observer. And is in these moments when you can capture the real feeling of what people, ordinary but extraordinary people have in their hearts. This is one of the many faces that to me have a very special meaning. This is once again the language of photography. The triangle between the subject, the camera, and the observer.
