"Women at Work" - 191.
Women at work. Real and tough work, oh my God. Day after day, and over and over again they go down the river and fill their nets with heavy stones, obliged to knee on the ground when the water is rising their necks... Amazing, incredible, adorable, extraordinary and so ordinary. Since early morning till almost dawn. The humidity gets into their skin and bones for a simple and very modest salary. God, they are not convicted... aren't they? Well, they look like.
I asked them why they don't try to find another job. And the answer was: "There's nothing else..."
Next week I want to come back and enjoy some more time with them. Get into the water so I can get closer shoots. But what I want to do is to carry over my head one of these torture thing from the river until the top of the hill. That day I'll need double breakfast. I will tell you the experience next time.
